Filling & Counting Station
Counts pieces or measures volume — stops at the target every time.

For products that go into a pack by count or weight — screws into a hardware bag, spices into a sachet, seeds into an envelope — manual operators undercount or overcount, both of which cost money. This station meters product into the container, counts or weighs as it goes, and shuts off the moment the target is hit.
Step by step
- 01
Bulk product feeds in from a hopper through a vibratory tray.
- 02
A photoelectric counter (or weigh hopper or volumetric piston) measures product on the way down.
- 03
When the target count or weight is reached, the gate closes.
- 04
The full container is indexed forward; an empty one moves under the chute.
- 05
Misfills (low or over) are flagged and the operator is alerted.
- 06
Recipes per SKU stored in the PLC — change product in seconds, not minutes.
What's in the cell
- Hopper + vibratory feed tray (linear or radial)
- Photoelectric counter, weigh hopper, or volumetric piston
- Pneumatic gate or rotary valve
- Container index conveyor (intermittent motion)
- PLC with recipe storage + HMI
- Reject station for misfilled units
Where it fits
- Hardware (screws, nuts, washers) into pouches
- Spices and tea leaves into sachets

Sized to your line
These ranges cover most installations — exact spec depends on your product, throughput target, and integration constraints. We confirm everything before quoting.
Sized to your product — count-type for uniform pieces, weight-type for granular or powders. We tune the feed rate to balance speed against accuracy for your specific SKU.
