Machine Vision Engineers · Sri Lanka

Machine vision that inspects, measures and sorts on your line.

Cerox Engineering designs and builds camera-based inspection systems for factories: shade segregation, fabric inspection, label and code checks, measurement and grading. We also supply the cameras and lenses behind them.

Where Machine Vision Fits

The inspection and measurement problems a camera can take over from the human eye.

Automated Fabric Inspection

Camera-based fabric inspection for woven and knit rolls. Line-scan cameras detect holes, stains, slubs and dropped stitches across the full width, map every defect and grade rolls to the 4-point system.

Barcode, 2D Code & OCR

Industrial code reading and traceability: read and grade barcodes, QR and Data Matrix codes to ISO/IEC 15415 and 15416, verify printed date and lot codes with OCR, and reject every unreadable or wrong code.

Label & Packaging Inspection

Vision inspection for labels, caps, fill levels, seals and cartons. Check the right label is present, straight and legible, caps are fitted, containers are filled and packs are sealed, on every unit at line speed.

Dimensional Measurement

Non-contact measurement of lengths, diameters, hole positions, gaps and profiles with telecentric optics and 3D laser profiling. Measure every part in-line, pass or fail it against tolerance, and log data for SPC.

Surface Defect Inspection

Automated surface inspection for scratches, dents, cracks, porosity, stains and coating faults on metal, plastic, rubber and glass. Specialised lighting and deep learning find cosmetic and functional defects on every part.

Vision-Guided Robotics

Give robots eyes: 2D and 3D vision locates parts on conveyors, in trays and in bins so robots can pick, place, pack, palletise and tend machines without precise fixtures. Hand-eye calibration and conveyor tracking included.

Assembly Verification

Vision error-proofing (poka-yoke) for assembly lines: confirm every component is present, correct, oriented and seated, count parts, and keep an image record of each assembly for traceability.

Food & Agricultural Grading

Optical sorting and grading for tea, spices, coconut, nuts, grains and fresh produce. Colour, NIR and hyperspectral vision remove stalks, foreign matter and defective product, and grade by colour and size.

PCB & Electronics Inspection

Automated optical inspection for electronics: solder paste inspection, pre and post-reflow AOI, through-hole and conformal coating checks. Find missing, wrong, misaligned and reversed parts and solder faults to IPC-A-610.

How We Work

We start from your product and your quality problem, and prove the measurement on your own samples before anything is built.

Vision System Design

Camera, lens and lighting chosen for your product and your defect, then proven on your own samples.

Fits Your Existing Line

Stations are added to the line you already run, with a pass or fail signal to your controls.

Records and Reporting

Every measurement is stored, so you have evidence per piece, per batch and per shift.

Cameras and Lenses Supplied

Hikrobot and Basler industrial cameras, lenses and barcode readers, sourced and supplied.

Engineered and Supported in Sri Lanka

A vision system is only as good as the people who tune it. Ours is designed, installed and supported by a local engineering team, so changes to your products, standards or line are handled here, not through an overseas vendor.

Proven on Your Samples

We measure product your own team has already graded, so you can compare the two.

Built Around Your Line

Sized to your product, your speed and your buyer standards after a look at the plant.

Evidence You Can Show a Buyer

Stored results per piece and per batch, ready when a shade or a defect is questioned.
