Automated End-to-End Social Media Pipeline, Built with AI

An automated social media pipeline is software that takes content from idea to published post and back to a report with as little manual work as possible. AI drafts posts and visuals in your brand voice, a person approves them, and the system publishes through the platforms' official APIs, sorts comments and messages, and reports results. We design and build it as an engineering project, and you own it.

Definition

What the pipeline does, end to end

Most social media work is repetitive: turning a product, an event or a blog post into a dozen platform-sized posts, resizing visuals, scheduling, answering the same questions in comments, and pulling numbers into a report. A pipeline automates that repetition so your team spends its time on judgement and on customers.

Ours is built from components you can inspect: a content source such as a product list, website or calendar; an AI generation step guided by your brand voice document and banned-claims list; an approval step in email, Slack, Mattermost or a simple web dashboard; publishing through official platform APIs; an inbox step that classifies comments and messages and routes sales enquiries; and a reporting step that writes the weekly numbers for you.

The problem

Why manual posting does not scale

  • One person writing, designing, posting and replying across four platforms cannot keep up, so output drops.
  • Generic AI tools produce bland posts that sound like everyone else and sometimes state things that are not true.
  • Third-party scheduling tools stop at publishing and leave comments, leads and reporting manual.
  • Unofficial automation tools that log in as you risk account bans.
How it works

How the automated pipeline works, step by step

STEP 1PlanSTEP 2GenerateSTEP 3ApproveSTEP 4PublishSTEP 5EngageSTEP 6Report
  1. STEP 1

    Plan from your sources

The pipeline reads your content calendar, product data, website updates or events and proposes the week's posts.

  2. STEP 2

    AI drafts

Copy for each platform and language, plus visuals from your templates, checked against your brand guide and claims list.

  3. STEP 3

    Human approval

Your team approves, edits or rejects each draft in one place. Nothing publishes without approval unless you choose otherwise.

  4. STEP 4

    Scheduled publishing

Approved posts go out at the right time through the official Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube APIs.

  5. STEP 5

    Inbox triage

Comments and messages are sorted into questions, leads, complaints and spam, with suggested replies and sales enquiries routed to people.

  6. STEP 6

    Automatic reports

Weekly numbers collected from each platform into one dashboard and summary.

Methods

What makes it work

Brand voice and claims guard

A written voice guide, approved product facts and a banned-claims list are given to the model on every draft, and drafts are checked against them before review.

Official platform APIs

Meta Graph API for Facebook Pages and Instagram publishing, LinkedIn Posts API, TikTok Content Posting API and YouTube Data API, after each platform's app review. No password sharing or browser bots.

Choice of AI models

Claude, GPT or Gemini models for text, chosen for the language and task, with Sinhala and Tamil output reviewed by a person.

AI content labelling

Synthetic images and video are labelled as platforms require, including Meta's AI info label, TikTok's AI-generated content label and YouTube's altered or synthetic content disclosure.

Comment and message triage

Classification of incoming messages with suggested replies, escalation rules, and complaint handling always passed to a person.

Data protection by design

Customer messages processed only for the purpose agreed, stored with access controls and retention limits, in line with Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022.

What we will not promise

  • We keep a person in the approval step by default. Fully automatic posting is possible, but we only switch it on for low-risk content you choose.
  • Platform APIs need app review and have rate limits and content rules. Some features differ between business and personal accounts.
  • AI drafts can be wrong. The claims guard and human review reduce that risk; they do not remove the need for a person to own what is published.
FAQ

Automated Social Media Pipeline: common questions

Is AI-generated social media content allowed?

+

Yes, on the major platforms, with rules. Realistic AI-generated images and video must be labelled where platforms require it, and the content must follow the same community standards as anything else. The pipeline applies the labels automatically.

Will posts sound like a robot?

+

Not if the system is set up well. The model is given your voice guide, examples of your best posts and your product facts, and a person approves every draft. Posts that a reviewer edits teach us how to tune the prompts.

Can it post without anyone approving?

+

It can, but we do not recommend it for most content. By default every post needs approval. You can choose to auto-publish low-risk items, such as a scheduled reminder, once the pipeline has earned your trust.

Does it work with Sinhala and Tamil?

+

Yes. Current language models write Sinhala and Tamil, but quality varies, so those drafts always go through a fluent reviewer before publishing.

Do we own the pipeline?

+

Yes. It runs on your accounts and your cloud or ours under contract, and you receive the source code and documentation. You are not locked into a subscription tool.

How is this different from a scheduling tool?

+

Scheduling tools publish what you give them. The pipeline also creates the drafts, checks them, routes the replies and builds the reports, and it is built around your own systems such as your product catalogue or booking engine.
